The Black Legend: Chapter 1
 First there was peace, silence and darkness until sharp, violent pain erupted from her shoulder, spreading rapidly through the entire left side of her body. Consciousness wavered in and out as she rocked uncontrollably in something wooden, creaking loudly across the sound of crunching gravel. Hyascinthe briefly made out the image of a hooded figure and tried to understand the words he spoke futilely, but exhaustion and pain conquered her will and her vision went black once more.

When she came to, her eyes struggled to focus on the stone, grey walls and glowing candles. The arrow no longer lived in her shoulder and the pain was dulled down

Hyascinthe opened her eyes and blinked a few times, focusing on a figure seated at the desk in her room, with apple in his mouth and quill in hand, as he scratched the quill against a piece of parchment. He didn't seem to notice her watching as of yet and she frowned, beginning to wonder why he was still staying with her in Cheydinhal. Didn't he have better things to do than to just hang out?

Lucien paused, setting the quill down to take a full bite out of the apple as his eyes darted back and forth, reading the letter he had just written. She could hear the crunch as he chewed.

The scars show that he has truly faced the darker/harder times of his life but that smirk. "You throw me down and I get back up again" is what it says to me. I'd have to guess that he is either a Dunmer or a Bosmer, and that he has aged quite abit due to the wrinkles in his facial features. That's not slowing him down though. Well done!
